Bel Aurora, meaning “beautiful dawn” originated in 2017 when 5 musician friends – 2 violinists, 2 violists and a cellist - got together for an early breakfast and a reading of a Mozart string quintet. The group so enjoyed making music together that they began scheduling performances around the Columbus, Ohio area. Since then, these highly trained professional musicians have played in various combinations of string duos, trios, quartets and quintets for various musical events. Although the most common requests are for wedding musicians and private concerts, they have broadened their scope by joining with other fine musicians and expanding their repertoire to musical genres including popular classics, celtic, fiddle, tango, waltz, pop and even a little rock. These passionate musicians continue to enjoy hanging out and performing various wedding/concert/recital venues together!
